A&A Tax Lawyers was founded by Jos van der Laak (graduated in civil and tax law) and Ewald de Groot (graduated in tax law). This merger of expertise has brought both legal and tax expertise under one roof, where a broad experience in (international) issues regarding tax laws and administration actually all come together. In 2000 Ewald completed his studies as a Tax Lawyer at the (current) University of Tilburg. In addition, he also finished his studies as LL.M at the European Tax College (2003). Ewald is also a member of the Association for Tax Sciences and is an associate author at the SDU. He was the initiator of the International Business Desk for doing business with and in Turkey.
In 1984 Jos completed his law studies at the (current) University of Tilburg. In 1990 he completed his studies as a Tax Lawyer. In the past, he was affiliated with several major accountants and tax advisory firms in the capacity of tax lawyer and Director of an international advisory group. Additionally, he was also the managing director with a trust company. Jos is also a member of the Association for agricultural law. He regularly is a guest speaker at the Chamber of Commerce. Apart from English, Jos also speaks German fluently. All the more reason why our German clientele likes doing business with him.
